What is a fable?
A fable is a short fictional story that typically features animals with human-like qualities and ends with a clear moral or life lesson. Fables are designed to teach children values such as courage, kindness, honesty, and responsibility in a way that is easy to understand and remember. Because fables are simple, engaging, and packed with meaning, they help young readers develop reading skills whilst also assisting with their emotional understanding.
Why fables?
We believe that young people and children need good role models to help them navigate the challenges of our modern world. We help them understand and learn life lessons by experiencing it through a book character - so they already have strategies to help them make more positive choices when they themselves are faced with challenges.
How many books are in the series?
Can you visit my school?
Yes, we would love to! We enjoy visiting schools and groups such as the Rainbows or Brownies because we can share our joy of reading with all of you! Mention Frazer's Fables to your teacher or group leader and ask them to get in contact with us. Hopefully we can meet you soon!
I have a question to ask the author - how do I contact him?
Leave him a message through the Facebook app or email us at frazersfables@outlook.com (make sure to get parental permission if you're not an adult). RJ Frazer reads all his fan mail and endeavours to reply to all of his fans as quickly as possible.
I want to buy a book as a gift for my nephew - can I get a book dedicated to him?
Yes! We are happy to dedicate books to children if you purchase directly from us; contact us via email at frazersfables@outlook.com to arrange this. We will deliver locally or post it out to you for free - just make sure to let us know your address when you make the purchase. Books purchased through Amazon cannot be dedicated at present.
I can't find your books in my local bookshop - where can I buy them?
Currently, books in the Frazer's Fables series are available through Amazon or from us directly (on the website or at events). The more you review the books on Amazon, the more likely we are to end up in bookshops in the near future!
How do I organise a workshop with Frazer's Fables?
Email us with your query at frazersfables@outlook.com or message us through Facebook on the Frazer's fables page. Don't forget to include some important details such as what you're looking for us to run in the session, how many people it will be for, and where you are. Currently we can only run workshops in the UK. We will assume the workshop is for children unless otherwise stated (ie a local book club).
